@alpower Aw, thank you. Honestly, I'm making these little notes for my own memories as much as anything else. But if you're enjoying them, it's a bonus. And I'd 10000% recommend Japan as a destination.
@DaveyCraney Thanks for reading! And yes, we're really enjoying it. But the Christmas music has been hilarious. Not many seasonal decorations up, but the music is playing in every single store. Our hotel is the only place (so far) where we've not heard any.

@BenSouthwood I was there helping a friend, which felt very different - not buying for my own home was kind of freeing. But the crowds, the feral children running everywhere, and the sheer distance walking... hopefully I won't have to go back for a while.

So I may well be popping in to the Apple Store in Tokyo to check them out (and save some money in the process - the exchange rate is very much in my favour right now!)
