Another Apple event

With less than two hours to go until Apple launches more…stuff, I’m relatively sure they’re going to announce the iMac of my dreams.

Because I bought a new one just weeks ago.

With my 2017 27″ iMac on its last legs, I had to go and get one of the new M1 24″ iMacs. And while it’s an absolute beaut, I’m still annoyed it didn’t come in a bigger size.

I’ve been using it for about three weeks and I’m definitely getting used to the smaller screen. But as it’s my office computer, I do miss some of the real estate while I’m running a webinar and would like to see a few apps concurrently. I realise now that I was thoroughly spoilt by so many inches of screen.

Having read all the rumours for this event, I don’t think there’s anything I’m going to be tempted by (famous last words). I can’t return the 24″ iMac to upgrade to the fabled 27″ model. So I’m stuck with it and its delicious power for at least a couple of years. I’ve made my fabulous iMac bed, so now I’ll have to lie in it.
