Time to say goodbye?

In my effort to simplify my life and declutter, I’ve not ignored the digital side of things. Given so much of my life is spent dealing with apps and files, it’s almost as important as decluttering physical spaces.

I’ve had a look at my online commitments and honestly wonder about the time and effort invested on my various blogs. My gut is telling me it’s time to reduce the number of these and just bring that simplicity and focus from the other aspects of my life into the digital realm.

I’ve already cancelled a few online subscriptions and newsletters, and deleted my profile from unused apps and services, but I’m left with a few WordPress blogs and various other social accounts. I’m keen to reduce these and, given I’ll have to maintain one for my business, think I’ll retain one for ‘other stuff’ I’m interested in.

I just need to figure out which one that is. Aside from the cost of maintaining various blogs, there’s the time spent on writing, the time spent thinking about writing and time spent wondering whether what I’ve written makes any sense.

So it may be time to stop writing here. If that’s the case, I’ll flag where I’m going to be from now on, in case anyone is interested in following. But regardless, I think my time of multiple blogs and online personas is over.

Time for a coffee and a think.
