This time two months, I’ll be on a JAL flight making it’s final approach to Tokyo Haneda Airport. And I couldn’t be more excited!
At this point, @TheFrankFlyer and I have made about a dozen visits to Japan and it never gets boring. Ever. I’m a committed Japanophile (my Japanese language class is on a Tuesday evening!) and we’ve made some great friends in Tokyo over the years.
This time will make my first time flying with JAL and I can’t wait. @TheFrankFlyer returned from Japan with them on his last visit and raved about the service in First Class. We’re treating ourselves to the JAL First Class experience for this holiday and I’m quite sure it’ll feature on this blog at some point.
So I’ve got two months to brush up on my Japanese conversational skills, create a manageable packing list and finish up a couple of large work projects. And then it’ll be ten days of fun, food and far too little sleep in my favourite city.
Speaking of which, I’ve got some Japanese homework to finish today…
